Hot Taco Dip

2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tablespoon butter
1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
1 (4-ounce) can chopped chili peppers
1 (12-ounce) jar taco sauce
Shredded cheddar cheese, scallions and sliced black olives to garnish

Brown ground beef. Drain and rinse well with hot water to remove as much fat as possible. Sauté onion in butter. Add ground beef, refried beans, chili pepper and taco sauce, blending well.

Place in a serving dish and heat thoroughly. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped scallions and sliced black olives. Serve with tortilla chips.
