1 cup filtered water (warmed for 30 seconds in microwave)
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
2½ cups (12½-ounces) bread flour
½ Tablespoon bread machine yeast

Add ingredients in the order listed to bread machine. Start bread machine on dough cycle. At the end of the dough cycle, remove dough to a floured surface. Scale dough into 2-ounce portions. Round each portion into ball and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Let rest for 10 minutes; flatten with floured hand.

Turn oven on for exactly 1½ minutes; turn oven off. Place bread dough in warmed oven for 60 minutes, or until double in bulk. Remove from oven.

Heat oven to 400° F. Bake rolls for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool completely on wire rack. Yield: 10 french bread rolls.
