Marvelous Fudge

4½ cups sugar
Pinch of salt
3 Tablespoons butter
1 (13-ounce) can evaporated milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
12-ounces semisweet chocolate chips
12-ounces German's sweet chocolate
2 cups marshmallow cream
2 cups chopped nuts

Bring first four ingredients to boil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Boil for 6 minutes. Remove from heat and pour boiling syrup over remaining ingredients. Beat until all chocolate is melted. Pour onto buttered waxed paper (you need a large area to pour it out). Allow candy to set for 3 hours before cutting. Store in a tin. Yield: about 4 pounds.
