Preheat oven to 350º F. Line a 9x13-inch pan with aluminum foil.

Arrange all of the unwrapped Dove pieces on the prepared pan. Place in the oven for 2 minutes, just to soften; set aside.

In a large bowl, mix the Kix, mini marshmallows, and M&M Milk or Peanut Chocolate candies.

In a large pan, melt the butter and regular-size marshmallows over medium heat. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal mixture, mixing to coat well. Spread the resulting mixture evenly on top of the Dove pieces. Sprinkle plain M&M's on the top, pressing them in slightly. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes. Cut into 1¼ squares. Fill clear plastic bags with some squares, and tie with a holiday ribbon. Yield: 70 pieces.
