Hello Dolly Delights

1 (7¼-ounce) box vanilla wafers
½ cup butter
1 (4-ounce) can sweetened premium shredded coconut
1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1½ cups finely chopped pecans
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 300º F.

Roll vanilla wafers between two pieces of waxed paper with rolling pin until very fine crumbs. Alternatively, place vanilla wafers in food processor; process until very fine crumbs.

Butter sides of an 11x7 inch pan and place remaining butter in pan to melt slowly in a 300º F oven. Sprinkle wafer crumbs evenly over bottom of pan. Spread as evenly as possible in separate layers the coconut, chocolate morsels and pecans. Dribble condensed milk over the layered mixture. Bake in a preheated 350º F oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Test with a straw for doneness. Cool in pan for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight. Cut into 1-inch squares. Yield: 30 (1-inch) squares.
