Preheat oven to 350º F. Cream margarine. Add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract, baking powder and baking soda; beat until well blended. Add flour and stir until well blended. Add remaining ingredients; stir until well blended. Roll dough into balls the size of ping pong balls. Place 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely on wire racks. Yield: 2½ dozen cookies. |
