Tommy Poo's

¾ cup margarine, softened
1 egg
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup all purpose flour
3 cups rolled oats, uncooked
1 cup pecan pieces
1 (12-ounce) package peanut butter chips

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Beat margarine until creamy. Add egg, water and vanilla extract; beat. Add sugars, salt, baking soda; beat until fluffy. Add flour and mix well. Add oats, pecans and peanut butter chips; mix well. Roll into 2-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Slightly flatten balls. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Remove to a wire rack and cool completely.
