Fettuccine Alfredo - I

8 ounces uncooked fettuccine
½ cup butter
½ cup whipping cream*
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
½ teaspoon salt

Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain well; place in a large bowl.

Combine butter and whipping cream in a small saucepan; cook over low heat until butter melts. Stir in cheese, pepper and parsley. Pour mixture over hot fettuccine; toss until fettuccine is well coated. Yield: 4 servings.

*May use ¼ cup sour cream plus ¼ cup milk, well blended.
