Ingredients

  • 1 egg lightly beaten plus enough filtered water to make a total of 8.50-ounces of liquid
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 1 Tablespoon (0.5 ounces) olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon (0.75 ounces) honey
  • 5 ½  Tablespoons (0.9 ounce) unprocessed wheat bran
  • 3 cups (12.3 ounces) bread flour
  • ½ teaspoon bread machine yeast

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into the pan of a bread machine, in the order listed. Program the machine for the regular cycle. If necessary, adjust the dough's consistency with additional flour or water.
  • Allow the machine to complete its cycle. Yield:  One 1-pound loaf.
