Creepy Chicken Pot Pie Skulls

Equipment

  • Nordic Ware Skull Cakeleet Pan

Ingredients

  • 1 Roll of classic store-bought refrigerated pizza crust (See Tip 1)
  • 3 cups chicken pot pie mixture (See Tip 1)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Brusk skull cups with vegetable oil or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Unroll the pizza crust; spread it on lightly floured parchment paper. Roll to approximately 16 inches by 12 inches.
  • Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the pizza crust in half longways; then cut each strip into thirds.
  • Lay the pizza crust pieces on the skull cups and gently press to form a bowl. Add about ½ cup of the chicken pot pie mixture to each piece of pizza crust. Pinch the pizza crust together to completely enclose the chicken pot pie mixture; press down into the skull cup.
  • Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven. Allow to cool for 5 minutes; remove from pan and place on a wire rack to continue cooling. Serve warm.
  • Yield: Six Creepy Chicken Pot Pie Skulls.

Notes

  1. You can also use your favorite pizza crust. You will need about 12 ounces of the pizza crust.
  2. You can use your favorite chicken pot pie mixture or my favorite chicken pot pie mixture in this recipe.
