- 12 oz green candy melts disks
- 3 c corn flakes
- 60 mini red M&M's
In a microwave proof bowl melt the candy disks on 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until they have melted.
Place the corn flakes in a large microwave proof bowl.
Pour the melted candy disks over the corn flakes and stir until well combined and all of the corn flakes are completely coated.
Line a large rimmed baking sheet with wax paper.
Place the cookie cutter on the wax paper. Then, using the ice cream scoop, drop a leveled-off scoopful of the corn flake mixture into the center of the cookie cutter.
Then, take the chopstick and create a circular hole in the middle of the mixture to form the center of the wreath.
Next, carefully remove the cookie cutter by pulling it straight upwards away from the pan.
Then, carefully place five mini red M&M's around the top of the wreath.
Repeat these steps 5-8 to make the rest of the wreaths.
Let harden on the baking sheet for about an hour before handling.
Yield 12 wreaths.
You should clean the cookie cutter with hot water and dry it after you have made two or three wreaths because the hardened candy that will build up inside of the cutter will make it difficult to form the wreaths.
You should microwave the mixture after you have made six wreaths because the mixture will have begun the harden by then and this will make it easier to form the wreaths.
