Holiday Cornucopia Treats

Ingredients

  • 12 sugar cones do not use waffle cones
  • 1 cup Bright White Candy Melts
  • 1 to 3 teaspoons vegetable oil for thinning candy melts optional
  • ¼ cup holiday sprinkles
  • Filling of your choice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250° F.
  • Dip straw into water. Hold finger on end to trap water; release water into cone.
  • Dip cone in 2-½ inches of warm water for 15 seconds. Pour water out of inside of cone. Microwave on high for 15 seconds.
  • Carefully curl end into cornucopia shape. Hold for about 30 seconds until end holds its shape.
  • Repeat with remaining cones.
  • Dry cornucopias in 250° F oven for 25 to 30 minutes; allow to cool.
  • Melt candy melts in small bowl according to package directions. If too thick, add 1 to 3 teaspoons vegetable oil to achieve desired consistency.
  • Dip open end of cone in candy melts. Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles. Place on parchment paper; allow to set.
  • Fill cornucopias with munchies of your choice.
  • Cover cornucopias with piece of plastic; secure with rubber band and tie with ribbon to decorate.
