- 8 oz cream cheese
- 16 oz sour cream
- 10 oz (2 ½ cups) cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- 1 lb bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
In a large bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Next, add the sour cream and beat until light and fluffy.
Then, add eight ounces of shredded cheddar cheese and beat until it is well incorporated.
Next, add the bacon and beat until the dip is well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie plate or 1-quart baking dish, sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Then top with the remaining two ounces of shredded cheese.
Bake in a 400°F oven for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Once out of the oven, top the dip with some chopped green onions.
Serve warm with assorted chips and crackers.
