Equipment

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Four-Cheese Texas Toast
  • 8 Frozen Breaded Chicken Patties
  • 15 oz can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic Paste
  • ½ c Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 8 slices Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to the temperature to bake the Texas Toast. Line two half-sheet pans with parchment paper. Place the Texas Toast on one of the prepared sheet pans and bake according to the package directions for the full baking time. Remove from the oven and place the pan on a wire cooling rack.
  • Adjust the oven temperature to the chicken patties package baking directions. Place the chicken patties on the other prepared half-sheet pan. Bake according to the package directions, flipping the patties over halfway through baking.
  • While the chicken patties are baking, place the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and garlic paste in a small saucepan. Stir everything together and heat over medium-high heat until the sauce begins to bubble. Reduce the temperature to low and keep warm until ready to use.
  • When the chicken patties are done, remove them from the oven, and adjust the temperature to 400°F.
  • Place about a tablespoon of the prepared sauce on the top of the Texas Toast and spread it over the entire surface. Then, sprinkle about a teaspoon of grated parmesan cheese over the tomato sauce.
  • Place a chicken patty on top of each prepared Texas Toast slice. Top the chicken patties with another tablespoon of the tomato sauce and a teaspoon of grated parmesan cheese. Place a slice of Provolone cheese and a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each.
  • Bake in a 400°F oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted down the sides. Remove from the oven and place the pan on a wire cooling rack. allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Yield 8 servings
