- 1 ½ cups (11.25 ounces) dark brown sugar
- ¾ cup (9 ounces) orange marmalade
- ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup (8 ounces) fresh orange juice, divided
- 9 pound bone-in fully cooked spiral cut ham
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an aluminum roasting pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Set aside.
Combine brown sugar, orange marmalade, salt, pepper, and ½ cup of orange juice in a bowl. Set aside.
Place the ham sideways in the prepared aluminum pan. Brush with ¼ cup of the brown sugar glaze, gently pushing the glaze in between slices using your hands or a brush. Turn the ham over, cut side down, and repeat the process with an additional ¼ cup of the glaze.
Pour the remaining ½ cup of orange juice into the bottom of the pan and cover tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Bake at 350°F for one hour. Remove the ham from the oven and uncover it. Brush evenly with ⅓ cup of the glaze. Return the to the oven, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and brush with ⅓ cup of the glaze. Return to the oven, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
