- The Simple Glaze: For the glaze, I used dark brown sugar, orange marmalade, Kosher salt, black pepper, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Step-by-Step Instructions: Here’s How to Make this Ham
- First, I made the simple glaze by stirring together the brown sugar, orange marmalade, salt, pepper, and orange juice in a medium-size bowl.
- Next, I placed the ham sideways in a disposable aluminum roasting pan lined with extra-wide, heavy-duty aluminum foil. Then, I added about a quarter cup of the glaze to the ham, spreading it over the ham and pressing it between the ham slices.
- I turned the ham, cut side down, and spread another quarter cup of the glaze on the ham. Then, I covered the ham with extra-wide, heavy-duty aluminum foil and baked it at 350ยฐF for an hour.
- After an hour, I removed the ham from the oven and removed the aluminum foil. Then, I spread about a third of a cup of the glaze over the ham. I returned the ham to the 350ยฐF oven uncovered for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, I removed the ham from the oven and brushed on about a third of a cup of the glaze. Then, I returned the ham to the oven for another 15 minutes.
- I removed the ham from the oven, and brushed it with additional glaze.
I allowed the ham to sit for about 15 minutes before serving it with scalloped potatoes, spinach artichoke casserole, and freshly baked homemade rolls.

Whether you’re serving it for a holiday feast or a special Sunday dinner, Brown Sugar Orange Glazed Ham will surely have everyone asking for seconds and savoring the yummy leftovers.ย Yum!
