Sunrise Mimosa is a refreshing and simple twist on a classic cocktail, making it the perfect drink for a Mother’s Day brunch!

    Sunrise Mimosa

    What is a Mimosa?

A mimosa is a sparking cocktail that generally contains champagne and orange juice. It is often served for breakfast and brunch and as a prelude to a light entrée because of its refreshing characteristics. I like to add grenadine syrup to take it over the top!

    Ingredients for Sunrise Mimosa:

I used the following ingredients for this incredible aperitif: Orange juice, champagne, grenadine syrup, and orange slices.

    Ingredients

    Making this Aperitif:

First, I added some freshly squeezed orange juice to a champagne flute. Then, I added an equal amount of champagne. Finally, I slowly added a splash of grenadine syrup.

    Pouring the Syrup

I finished this refreshing aperitif with a slice of orange for garnish. It was refreshing, beautiful to look at, and awesome to imbibe. Cheers!
