Delicious quick and easy tuna salad

Tuna salad is comfort food at its best. At its most basic level, it’s a combination of canned tuna and mayonnaise. There are a lot of variations on that basic mixture. My favorite variation adds celery and sweet pickle relish. This produces a delicious tuna salad that’s quick and easy to make.

Making the Quick and Easy Tuna Salad

When I make tuna salad, I tend to use four 5-ounce cans of tuna packed in water. First, I drain as much water as I can from each of the cans. Then, I add chopped celery, sweet pickle relish, and mayonnaise.

Next, I stir the tuna salad to make sure that all of the ingredients are well combined. Finally, I chill it in the refrigerator.

The Master Taster and I like the tuna salad on toast, on crackers, or on a bed of lettuce. However we serve the tuna salad, it’s comfort food at its best. Yum!
