Sunrise Mimosa is a refreshing and simple twist on a classic cocktail, making it the perfect drink for a Mother's Day brunch!

What is a Mimosa?
A mimosa is a sparkling cocktail that generally contains champagne and orange juice. Because of its refreshing characteristics, it is often served for breakfast and brunch and as a prelude to a light entrée. I like to add grenadine syrup to take it over the top!
Ingredients for Sunrise Mimosa:
For this incredible aperitif, I used Orange juice, champagne, grenadine syrup, and orange slices.
Making this Aperitif - Simple Steps
Making the Sunrise Mimosa is super easy.
- I started by adding some freshly squeezed orange juice to a champagne flute.
- Then, I added an equal amount of champagne.
- Finally, I slowly added a splash of grenadine syrup to the orange juice and champagne to produce the sunrise effect..
I finished this refreshing aperitif with a slice of orange for garnish. It was refreshing, beautiful to look at, and awesome to imbibe. Cheers!
