When you don’t want to drive 200 miles to the nearest Trader Joe’s for a box of Hold the Cones, stay home and make your own!

Four simple ingredients plus an empty egg carton are all you need.

Start by cutting holes in the bottom of the egg carton to hold the cones.

Carefully cut the sugar cones to 3-inches.

"Sand" the rough edges of the cones on the underside of a wire mesh strainer.

Add coconut oil to chocolate chips to make the Magic Shell. Microwave at 50% power in 30 seconds increments.

Stir melted chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth and well combined.

Place cones in prepared egg carton. Coat inside of cones with chocolate mixture. Freeze for 15 minutes.

Pipe softened ice cream into cones. Freeze for an hour.

Dip ice cream cones in Magic Shell. Freeze until firm.
