Steps To Make Easy Fudgy Slutty Christmas Brownies
- In a large bowl, empty the contents of the boxed brownie mix. You can mix the brownies according to the instructions on the back of the box or follow my recipe to kick them up a notch, making them more decadent and fudgy. First, I swapped the oil with the same amount of melted butter. This gives the brownies a more homemade taste.
- Next, the boxed brownies called for water. But I swapped the water for the same amount of cream. Adding extra flavor and moisture creates a more chewy and fudge-like brownie from the extra fat in the cream.
- Then, I used two eggs instead of one. This extra egg makes the brownies over-the-top fudgy and rich.
- Next, with a large wooden spoon, I mixed everything together until it was well combined. Then I set it aside.
- Next, I lined the entire inside of a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some hanging over the edges. I like to secure mine with heavy-duty oven-proof stainless steel clips. I pressed the chocolate chip cookie dough into an even layer to cover the entire bottom of the pan.
- After that, I placed 24 Christmas Oreo’s in a single layer on top of the cookie dough, pressing the Oreos slightly into the dough.
- Then I added the prepared brownie mixture on top of the Oreo’s, spreading it evenly to cover the entire pan.
- Finally, I added some red and green M&M’s and Holiday sprinkles for a more festive touch.
- I baked the slutty brownies in a 350ยฐF oven for 50 minutes. Then I removed the pan to a wire rack and cooled it until it reached room temperature. Once the clips are cool to the touch, they can be removed from the pan.
- To remove the brownies from the pan, I lifted the parchment out and placed it on a large cutting board. Then, I carefully pulled away the parchment from the sides and slid a long, thin knife underneath the brownies to separate them from the parchment, making sure not to cut into the brownies.
- Finally, I carefully slid the parchment out from under the brownies and cut them into 24 pieces.
These Easy Fudgy Slutty Christmas Brownies are not only a delicious treat but also make the perfect gift for the holidays. Package them in a festive box or tin and spread some Christmas cheer to your loved ones.

Just what makes them SLUTTY?
sensley says
The exact origin of the name is unclear. However, about ten years ago I was in London and went to the department store Selfridges. They were selling something called โslutty browniesโ so I decided to try try them. They were a chocolate chip cookie base, with a fudgy brownie on top, and Oreos in the middle. When I came home I decided to try making them myself, and have been making them ever since. My best guess is that itโs a playful and suggestive reference to the dessert’s rich, decadent flavor and indulgent combination of ingredients.
Thanks for the question,
Susan
